Clay's malleability and responsiveness allow for development, modification and realisation of ideas. These works are endlessly refined modifications of a common tea strainer, with elements enhanced, multiplied or negated. Subtle form and colour within a balance of harmony and variety determine its base. Largely devoid of social and cultural constraints, this is a work of mind rather than emotion.
