Discuss the subjective nature of portraiture. How is line used to express human character in these two drawings? Investigate how the two artists have conveyed emotion through techniques such as distortion, tone, collage and composition to illustrate the inner thoughts and emotions of an individual.
 

The face has the greatest potential for displaying primal emotions, both our greatest strength and weakness and thus a source of curiosity. I tried to capture the incongruous blend of vulnerability and strength through flexible mediums and expressive techniques that mirror the irony of the human face.
