The Body of Work documents my journey to discover what light is and the vast and unbounded forms it can take. Inherently, I looked towards black and white photography to document my passage, as it is the most capable medium of capturing light. Each of the thirty-nine photographs reference lights uncontrollable nature both realistically and abstractly. The intimate size of the images forces the audience to come closer and really engage in the photographs, while the fluorescent light has been used to highlight mans attempt to control light, creating an atmosphere and emphasising the overall theme of the Body of Work.
