In my body of work, I have used a minimalist approach and the elimination of subjectivity to reflect the idea that the process through which an artwork is made is just as crucial to its success as the finished artwork. For me, it is during the process that creativity comes to the surface. In order to emphasise this, I have left a major part of my material practice up to chance as the patterns seen in the finished work were not predicted or planned – they are a product of my process.
