My film draws inspiration from the mundane and menial goings-on of the average day. Inspired by psychological theories of stream-of-consciousness and free association, the stop-motion film represents the flights of imagination in daydreams. Images and characters morph and change representations in an ultimately surrealist animation influenced by the fantastical stories of Gumby and stop-motion films such as Tale of tales by Yuriy Norshteyn. The dream-like imagery explored by the great surrealist artists Dali and Buñuel is reflected in the animation, seemingly holding no real plot, story or structure.
