When I was four my parents adopted six children from six continents. Their vastly different views about the world inspired me to create a work exploring conflicting issues in society and politics.
Untitled presents meticulously considered compositions that explore emotional states and relationships. I carefully staged scenes and photographed them, creating a dichotomy and tension between the content of the images and the text, to present meaning open to interpretation.
